Joy Uyeno is a fashion and lifestyle writer. Born and raised in Honolulu, she lived in London and Boston before settling in Portland, Oregon. Well travelled, Joy has seen, and continues to be interested in, fashion from all corners of the globe.

In 2008, she graduated with from Emerson College’s graduate program in publishing, during which she was published in a number of newspapers and magazines before discovering her ideal creative outlet: the blogosphere.

She survives the gloomy weather of the Pacific Northwest with strong coffee, a great pair of boots, and her adventurous kitten.
